Who we are

Cherry Street Cats is me (Robin), my husband Steve, Sandi, Michelle, Verena, Vinyse, Derek, Kent, and Connie, a group of dedicated cat lovers who care for a colony of feral cats in the east end of Toronto. I also have a great rescue team of Lesley, Joanne, and Susan. Together we do our best to make the lives better for feral and homeless cats and kittens. 900+ cats helped in nine years!

The missing kitten is found!

I have to give Effie a lot of credit, after the kittens were lost on Yonge Street, she searched three or four times a day and put up over 100 posters for the female who was still out there.

It paid off, yesterday she got a call that the kitten had been spotted.  We took a trap over today and I got the best message tonight that they caught her!  What a relief, and before the big storm.  She will go off to the vet tomorrow to be spayed.

    Fantastic news!!! Good for Effie for not giving up on her, I'm so happy for her, for you and for that very lucky kitten.
