Who we are

Cherry Street Cats is me (Robin), my husband Steve, Sandi, Michelle, Verena, Vinyse, Derek, Kent, and Connie, a group of dedicated cat lovers who care for a colony of feral cats in the east end of Toronto. I also have a great rescue team of Lesley, Joanne, and Susan. Together we do our best to make the lives better for feral and homeless cats and kittens. 900+ cats helped in nine years!

There's a new cat in town

When Sandi fed on Friday she discovered a new cat in an area we don't go to.  A dilute tortie was over by the plant on a loading dock and Sandi found out that they had been feeding her for a while as well as a black cat (Floppy?) and an orange cat (Morris?).  Steve and I actually did see this cat a year or so ago but then never again.  I just hope she is already spayed!   Where she is located is pretty dangerous so maybe she will join our crew, many of our cats started out in the plant and then moved out to a safer place and a more reliable food source, like Floppy.

Who knew that squirrels like cat food?  Here's one stealing our Charlie's breakfast.
