This Haliburton rescue is pretty epic for us, right now we have 15 adults in foster care and 14 kittens with more to come. We returned the grumpy moms (spayed of course) this week and picked up another female, the plan was to spay her but oops we discovered she is very pregnant, the vet said she will probably give birth within the week so thankfully Sandi has taken her and another female we hadn't gotten to had kittens in Haliburton this week, so we aren't quite done, but when you are dealing with a colony of 30 with 20 females it takes time.
Hazel, our friendly mom at Susan's, had an odd couple of days of being all growly and even mad at the kittens but she has recovered and yesterday Susan said all 8 were trying to nurse! It's quite the scene, 8 kittens running amok.
One of the cats we rescued was blind, and the vet had to remove one of her eyes, but he did surgery on the other, and it seems she may have partial sight! Here she is a week ago after her surgery but I will post some after pictures, she looks much better now, and is such a sweetie, we call her Twig, all the cats have tree names, with 40+ cats to name I needed a theme.

And I had a happy update from Maximus's foster, she called him a dream!
