Who we are

Cherry Street Cats is me (Robin), my husband Steve, Sandi, Michelle, Verena, Vinyse, Derek, Kent, and Connie, a group of dedicated cat lovers who care for a colony of feral cats in the east end of Toronto. I also have a great rescue team of Lesley, Joanne, and Susan. Together we do our best to make the lives better for feral and homeless cats and kittens. 900+ cats helped in nine years!

And now I see

Here is adorable Twig healing nicely after her surgery, she is a such a sweetheart and for sure has some sight in her remaining eye.
Love this face!
Sandi's foster, aptly named Cherry, had 3 kittens overnight on Sunday, Sandi got up Monday to find them and they all seem to be doing fine!  That will be the last litter from that Haliburton bunch.

Here are the stats for that colony: 20 kittens in foster care, 4 nursing moms still to be spayed who are at fosters, 12 friendly adults in foster care and 15 cats returned to Wonita spayed and neutered, all this in 2 months, pretty amazing what a community can do, and it's certainly been a community effort, huge thanks go out to Sandi, Susan, Michelle, Lesley, Carol, Valerie, Betsy, Megan and Annex Cat Rescue for helping this bunch of cats and Wonita, who would have had more than 60 cats by the end of the summer had we not gotten involved.
