Who we are

Cherry Street Cats is me (Robin), my husband Steve, Sandi, Michelle, Verena, Vinyse, Derek, Kent, and Connie, a group of dedicated cat lovers who care for a colony of feral cats in the east end of Toronto. I also have a great rescue team of Lesley, Joanne, and Susan. Together we do our best to make the lives better for feral and homeless cats and kittens. 900+ cats helped in nine years!

How to trap Arrow

Seven years I've been feeding and I still can't get within ten feet of Arrow.  Distressingly the last two weeks she has been running from feeding dish to dish meowing but not eating.  I suspect there is something wrong with her mouth but I have been trying to trap her to no avail.  The other day I had four traps in various locations and the drop trap out and she wouldn't go near any of them.  I wish she would let me help her!

The rest of the cats are enjoying the early spring, and today they left me a tip!  I found a 20 dollar bill by one of the bowls!

In our rescue world, Susan's fosters, Pamela and Sophia have been adopted, and I'm preparing to fill those rooms again.  Thanks to the mild winter and Michelle and Susan opening their doors and Annex helping out, since January we've been able to rescue 8 cats from the Jane and Finch colony, the three abandoned cats from Seaton Street, Clarence who was left in an apartment building, Lini and Winston from the portlands colony, Wheezy from Rexdale, I'm sure I'm forgetting someone.
