This week's news!

As usual, it was a busy week, and I have lots to report, starting with the fantastic news that Lini has been adopted by a wonderful couple.  Lini was one of the new portlands cats, she was living in the same spot as Betty and Winston.  Now she has a home!  How fantastic is that!
Lesley and I went to the Scarborough colony earlier in the week and scooped up four of the cats there to be spayed and neutered, just three females to go.  It turns out both the tabbies that are now at Michelle's are females and thankfully weren't pregnant, now that they are spayed the real taming begins.

With three recent adoptions, there was space at Susan's AirB&B for cats for another, so we welcomed Smokey.  What a sad story he has, his person died in January and he's been alone in an apartment since then.  He's matted and confused and a bit growly but I think he will be fine once he settles down.

At home, our own kitten catastrophe crew was hard at work, helping unset the table before our company arrived.  I won't even mention the food they stole!

For those of you wondering about Arrow, I haven't trapped her yet, but she is eating AD recovery food mixed with warm water into a soup (well unless one of the other cats steals it) so she is at least getting some food.  The only downside to this is that the food is over $3 a can but anything to keep her alive.  I'm going to try again this week to get her....
