Who we are

Cherry Street Cats is me (Robin), my husband Steve, Sandi, Michelle, Verena, Vinyse, Derek, Kent, and Connie, a group of dedicated cat lovers who care for a colony of feral cats in the east end of Toronto. I also have a great rescue team of Lesley, Joanne, and Susan. Together we do our best to make the lives better for feral and homeless cats and kittens. 900+ cats helped in nine years!

Fun in the sun on Family Day

What's a cat to do on a sunny day in February? Enjoy it.

Here's Teddy reclining on a piece of styrofoam, much comfier than the concrete.
Even Morris the outcast, took the time to roll around.
And Socks never needs much encouragement to bask in the warmth.
It's getting close to the end of February and how great this winter has been if you're a feral cat. I wonder if kitten season will start sooner, though. Thankfully, unless someone new moves in, that's no longer a concern for me but there are so many out there who still need to be TNRed.
