Who we are

Cherry Street Cats is me (Robin), my husband Steve, Sandi, Michelle, Verena, Vinyse, Derek, Kent, and Connie, a group of dedicated cat lovers who care for a colony of feral cats in the east end of Toronto. I also have a great rescue team of Lesley, Joanne, and Susan. Together we do our best to make the lives better for feral and homeless cats and kittens. 900+ cats helped in nine years!

I love kittens

These are just a few photos of the batch of seven kittens that I rescued and Michelle has been fostering. I visited them on the weekend to get my kitten fix.  It's funny, for the longest time I wasn't really a kitten fan and didn't gravitate to them at all.  I preferred older cats.  Recently though I've fallen for kittens, and I want them all.  It must be part of my mid life hormonal crisis.   Steve seems to think that we have enough cats in our house right now, and if you look at our recent vet bills you might agree with him.  It's still cheaper than kids, though.

I'm especially in love with these two above and below.

  1. Kittens are so amazing - I'm so easily drawn in by their pure sweetness. What little bundles of joy!
